Finance Support Apprentice

Are you looking to kickstart a career within finance?

Cullen Packaging in Glasgow are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their finance team as an apprentice. Cullen Packaging are rapidly growing and produce sustainable packaging to support businesses worldwide. They have been trading for over 100 years and began as a family business and now they have a massive 15 acre site.

You will complete an SCQF Level 6 qualification as part of your apprenticeship and full training will be provided.

What will I be doing?

  • General finance office duties
  • Use of Pegasus system to complete finance tasks
  • Wide use of Microsoft Office to complete tasks
  • Answering the phone and noting down queries
  • Online filing
  • Learning to use in-house systems for purchase ledger
  • Supporting the administration and sales teams with queries relating to invoices and purchase ledger

What do I need to be successful?

  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Good work ethic
  • A positive attitude
  • A good understanding of aspects of Microsoft Packages

Salary:

£14,000 per annum

Working hours:

34.45 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 8:45am - 5pm, Friday 8:45am – 3:30pm
