Financial Controller - About The Role
You will be joining an entrepreneurial business with growth down to both organic growth and acquisitions. As such this individual will share the same passion for this company's progression with a flair for business growth. With a very clear plan across the next five years, you will be working with the shareholders to execute these plans.
This client has exclusively partnered with Howett Thorpe to appoint a Financial Controller.
This business has grown YoY and are now at the point that they are looking for a Financial Controller to come on board; overseeing the day-to-day financial operations and reporting, with a team of 4 people to manage that are responsible for the transactional elements of finance.
Working within an owner managed business you will be shaping out the strategy for growth which could involve a complete overhaul of how the business is currently working on a financial control & reporting perspective.
As the Financial Controller you will oversee all financial aspects, including budgeting & forecasting, reporting and statutory responsibilities.
You will join the leadership team and contribute to this superb company culture, providing financial strategic acumen to guide the leadership team and wider business.
This position has the scope for this individual to be promoted to a Finance Director with a strong earning reward.
The successful Financial Controller will have/be:
- Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience of financial management
- Strong analytical, strategic planning and leadership skills
