Trainee Aviation Broker

An established, market-leading aviation company providing a multitude of innovative solutions to clients globally such as chartering, leasing and consultancy. They're challenging the big names in the industry and are in an exciting phase of growth which means they are looking for an ambitious new addition to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and driven candiate to join this growing company's charter team as a trainee, with a focus on developing new business. You'll be working with very interesting clients from Premier League football clubs to pop stars (clients include The 1975, The Weeknd, Billie Eilish), to large corporates such as AstraZeneca and Pfizer to government departments. They have even brokered flights for Lionel Messi!

The Role: Graduate Aviation Broker

  • Winning and developing new business.
  • Reaching out to travel managers, airline operators, logistics and procurement teams to build relationships, investigate their travel needs and provide a tailored solution.
  • Face-to-face meetings with clients and suppliers.
  • Organising flights for high-profile clients such as leading sports teams, celebrities, musicians, business professionals, government bodies, and many more.

What's in it for You?

  • Training: You'll spend the first 3-6 months being taught everything you need to know. You will be mentored by and shadowing a senior broker. The charter director has worked for the 2 biggest chartered brokering firms globally, so has plenty of advice to give.
  • Lateral moves: Opportunities in the long term to move laterally into other departments of the business.
  • Progression: Entirely on merit, however they would expect progression to senior broker in 2-3 years. They are looking for someone to lead and grow their own team in the future.
  • Earning potential: No threshold to start earning, and uncapped commission paid quarterly. Starting salary is £25k-£30k DOE, plus commission; OTE £37k-42k.
  • Varied: Hugely varied role with the chance to get out of the office and visit airlines and airshows to learn about planes, build relationships in person, and liaise with high-net-worth clients.

About You:

You need excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be confident reaching out to potential clients and building relationships. You will be getting to know the specifications of various aircraft and the logistics side of air travel, so an enthusiasm for the aviation industry is a must.

Please note you need a full UK driving license and be commutable to Reigate.
