Community Support Worker

Day-to-day duties:
- Maintain a safe environment through the utilisation of support plans and person-centred risk assessments.
- Support service users with daily routines including personal care, dressing, meal preparation, and general upkeep of their living space.
- Encourage and motivate service users to engage with the local community and participate in activities that positively impact their lives.
- Assist service users in working towards or developing independent skills.
- Support the physical and emotional wellbeing of service users, including attending medical appointments, managing medication, implementing behaviour management strategies, and maintaining positive relationships with family and friends.
- Commit to assignments to provide structure and stability for service users.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a Health and Social Care setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of supporting service users with complex care needs.
- Right to work in the UK.
- An up-to-date DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (assistance available for new DBS applications).
- Reference information covering the last 3 years of work history.
- An up-to-date CV with all employment accurately recorded since leaving full-time education.
- Commitment to assignments to ensure continuity of care for service users.
