Mid & Senior Java Developers (Minimum 5 Years of Java Experience)
Technologies: Java 17, SpringBoot, Microservices, TDD, Apache Flink, Hadoop, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, gRPC, Redis
Locations: London & Poole (Choose to work from either office)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in FinTech, with experience in sectors such as Banking, FX Trading, Hedge Funds, or Investment Banking. You should possess extensive expertise in core Java, with a deep understanding of its intricacies and best practices. Currently, the team is using Java 17, but there are plans to transition to Java 21 in the near future, so familiarity with newer Java versions is a plus.
While a FinTech background is preferred, candidates with strong Java skills from other technical domains will also be considered. You will be joining a collaborative team of 5 Java Developers, where your ability to contribute to complex, high-performance systems will be highly valued. There is an opportunity for the Senior Java Developer to progress into a Lead position very quickly within the company so encourage applications from Senior developers who have some lead experience.
