We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our team.

Position Overview
The Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our passive fire protection products and installations meet all required standards and specifications. This role involves inspecting installed works, processes, and compliance, through digital platforms and minimal site visits, to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a thorough understanding of Passive fire protection systems, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform desktop checking and reviews of digital documentation, including installation reports, product specifications, and quality assurance records.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, digital reviews, and test results.
  • Identify and document any defects or areas of non-compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide sign-offs on quality inspections and ensure all documentation meets company and regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with the manufactures and site to ensure consistent quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and advancements in passive fire protection.

Requirements

  • Experience in quality control, preferably in the construction or passive fire protection industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and materials.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and BS/EN standards.
  • Proficiency in using digital platforms for document review and quality checks. Preferably BIM/Bolster Systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Driving Licence.
