Role Overview: As a Class Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to a small class of 7-8 students in Year 7, who work to a tailored primary curriculum.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their emotional well-being and social development.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff, to create a holistic learning experience.
- Use creative teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of our students.
- Contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs and/or who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed approaches and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
