Our client is a well-established, small, independent family-owned manufacturer based in Daventry. They are looking to recruit a motivated team member as a Production Technician to work within their busy manufacturing & production department. Full training and supervision will be provided on the role.
**Production Technician responsibilities:
- Follow precise formulations and manufacturing instructions
- Measure, weigh & dispense raw materials to an exact level
- Learn and understand mixing processes for different products
- Setting up and operating machinery for all aspects of manufacturing and filling
- Labelling ingredients and putting away in the correct location
- General warehouse duties as and when required
- Regular heavy lifting is involved in this role due to the nature of manufacturing and handling of raw materials
**Production Technician experience and skills required:
- Good numeracy skills are required to complete simple mathematical equations
- Be able to follow precise instructions as part of the manufacturing processes
- Have a continuous improvement mindset
- Have focus and a keen attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to work alone or part of a small team
