Head of Commercial Finance / FP&A
Based: Warrington
Salary: up to £90k + benefits + progression
Our client is a market leading, rapidly expanding business in the Warrington area. Having tripled turnover in the last few years through organic growth and acquisition, they are continuing to grow and created a new role for a Head of Commercial Finance/FP&A to join the team. Reporting into the Finance Director, this is an excellent opportunity to progress and develop the commercial finance function:
- Full responsibility for all FP&A activities - monthly, quarterly, annual forecasting, budgeting and planning
- Business partnering with Factory Manager & wider functions
- Developing KPI metrics, driving change and process improvement
- Overseeing team of 2 staff ensuring development and training
- Financial modelling, data management and analysis of large volume transactions
- Analysis on labour variances, working with Factory teams to mitigate and increase margins
- Working with commercial team advising on price setting/changes improving costing and reporting on costs
- Supporting FD and CFO with analysis to support commercial and operational decision making
- Accurate BOM management with clear reporting
- Driving continuous improvements to current budget and forecast process through automation and efficiencies
- Support and challenge business decisions through accurate and timely information & analysis
Experience:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified with strong commercial finance / FP&A experience
- Financial modelling experience essential, able to manage large data sets
- Team leadership experience desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships internally
- Forward thinking and keen to progress
