Job Purpose

  • Managing a large portfolio, primarily consisting of property clients and tax advisory projects.
  • Monitoring all commercial aspects of portfolio management, reporting directly to Partners.
  • Preparation of technical tax computations and reports, communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Leading complex HMRC enquiries on a various tax issues.
  • Oversee junior staff, including workflow management, delegation, and reviewing work.
  • Work across departments to provide taxation guidance and ensure clients receive a comprehensive service.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and scope training opportunities to strengthen skillsets within the tax team.
  • Keeping up-to-date with tax knowledge, championing knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Building enhanced client relationships as their go-to point of contact for queries, including complex resolutions.

Job Requirements

  • ATT or CTA qualified with previous tax experience within practice.
  • Qualified by extensive experience would also be considered.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in property tax or mixed tax.
  • Excellent communication skills and sound attention to detail.
  • Adept a autonomously managing a client portfolio.
  • Supervisory experience with good people management and mentoring skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and highly organised.
