CNC SetterOperator - Main Responsibilities
- COSHH/Risk
- Setup CNC to provide setup
- Evidence of the Manufacturing Method
- Able to review, and read engineering drawings
- Ensure the right tooling and holding devices
- Ensure best practice setups with operators
- Liaise with Production Engineers
- Able to carry out 1st inspection
- Complete feedback tickets
- Complete OEE data sheet
- Meet, and maintain production goals
- Lean principles
- Ensure tooling and gauging are maintained
- Communicate issues and continuous manufacturing improvements when identified.
CNC Setter Operator - Experience
- Setting and running CNC turning or mill/turn machinery
- Apprenticeship trained.
- Fanuc program knowledge/understanding
- A can-do attitude
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to work to deadlines
- High level of attention to detail.
- PC Literate.
