We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join the business on a 12 month contract.
As the successful candidate you will ensure data quality and accuracy, build efficient data pipelines and design data models. Other responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure, including warehouses, lakes, databases, and ETL pipelines.
- Build scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data while ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Design and optimise data models to meet business needs and enhance performance.
- Collaborate with data teams to integrate and provide seamless data access.
- Implement data quality controls, validation processes, and governance frameworks.
- Develop and maintain data warehouses, ETL processes, and data quality standards.
- Evaluate and recommend data technologies to meet organisational needs.
- Support system integration efforts for smooth data transfer between systems.
- Monitor and analyse data trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Clearly communicate complex technical scenarios to various stakeholders.
- Document data processes, flows, and system configurations for effective communication.
