Description
The successful candidate will:
- Act as the competent person as required by the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
- Be the operational lead for the organisation's compliance with its statutory health and safety responsibilities.
- Work with our Health and Safety consultants to ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety are maintained.
- Identify and prepare risk assessments to address relevant Health and Safety issues.
- Be responsible for health and safety monitoring and training across the organisation.
Profile
A successful Interim H&S Coordinator should have:
- A recognised qualification in Health and Safety management.
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within the Not for Profit and Charities sector.
- Knowledge of property management and health and safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with all levels of the organisation.
- Proficiency in maintaining and managing safety documentation.
