All about the role
Based at Dudley Steel Tubes, Tividale site, we have a Quality Coordinator role available. The purpose of this role is to ensure the quality of our steel and products, meet the required standards. You will also aid in the efficiency and profitability of the business.
Specific tasks will include:
- Manage the Non-Conformance procedure and customer returns/credits.
- Collate evidence and support response to customers regarding corrective/preventive actions.
- Facilitate and support the investigation of quality errors.
- Maintain process documentation that is auditable to the latest ISO standards.
- Collate, review and issue certification packs for outgoing materials.
- Review certification for incoming goods.
- Establish good working relationships with all internal departments & sub-contractors.
- Identify, support and participate in process improvement projects.
- Support Business Improvement and Quality System activities/requirements.
All About You
You will have the passion, drive, and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way.
Essential Skills for the role:
- Good analytical, administration and IT skills, proficient in Microsoft & Word.
- Knowledge of document control systems.
- Experience of stock control systems.
- Ideally Knowledge & experience in the Steel industry.
- Motivation & drive to deliver and influence change.
