Job Scope:

The Training Specialist will be a key member of the team responsible for developing, planning, and delivering training for their equipment and selected third-party equipment. This customer-facing role demands a confident manner, smart appearance, and the ability to communicate clearly at all levels within the company and with customers.

What You Bring:

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient with computers and have excellent written English skills to create top-notch training materials.
  • Network Know-How: Practical knowledge of computer networking.
  • Confidence: Some experience in delivering training or the confidence to step up and do it.
  • Tech Background: Understanding of electrical systems, computers, and networks.
  • Flexible: Willingness to work at heights (training provided) and travel at short notice.
  • Industry Insight: Experience in Radars, with radio frequency knowledge being a advantage.

Training Topics Include:

  • Radar system operation
  • Simple power switching
  • Maintenance routines
  • Fault finding
  • Installation
  • Computer networking
  • Test equipment usage (multi-meter, oscilloscope, PC)

Additional Information:

  • Training on all systems will be provided.
  • The successful candidate must be highly self-motivated and proactive in expanding their knowledge base to support effective training delivery.
  • Travel is considered reasonable and not excessive, with up to five two-week trips per year on average, though this may vary. Training can occur worldwide and may be scheduled at short notice.
