As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented Finance Manager to join the team.

Role Overview: As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting processes. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, including month-end close, financial statements preparation, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful applicant will also play a crucial role in the cashflow reporting and cash management of the business. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to their continued success and growth in a successful tech business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the organisation to gather financial data and support business initiatives.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function to support their rapid growth trajectory.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
