Music Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Music Teacher
An Outstanding Secondary School in Croydon are seeking a Music Teaching Assistant and aspiring Music Teacher who they can train through-out the year as a Music Teaching Assistant, working specifically within KS3, KS4 and KS5 Music Lessons, as well as supporting students with SEN in their Music studies.
You will work closely with pupils both in class on a 1:1 and group level, as well as outside of the classroom providing group interventions. Ideally, you will be skilled with multiple instruments including experience playing in a classical setting. The school are huge on Music and have it as one of their main specialisms, encouraging students to partake in lessons as well as their orchestra.
This excellent school is in the top 1% in the UK for their progress 8 score. They want to ensure all students are afforded a high-quality of education and are keen to put in additional support for students that need it, whether that's supporting a student to get a C, or pushing a high-achieving student to achieve an A*.
