A growing independent business based in Stourbridge is looking for a 3rd Line IT Technician to join its dynamic team!

The role is based in Stourbridge, West Midlands, and will involve telephone and remote support as well as the occasional (approximately once a week) onsite work to clients that are mainly based within the Midlands and surrounding counties.
What you'll be doing as 3rd Line IT Technician:
- Diagnosing and fixing IT hardware and software issues via phone, email, and remote support.
- Installing and/or transferring servers in both physical and cloud-based environments.
- Creating technical sales quotes that meet customer needs completely.
- Assisting with overflow of tickets and calls, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Working with technicians to escalate calls when necessary.
- Liaising with suppliers and channel partners to resolve problems and queries.
- Configuring, installing, monitoring, and maintaining computer systems and networks.
- Creating and maintaining support documentation to help colleagues and empower users.
- Visiting customer sites to provide support and install new systems.
We're looking for a 3rd Line IT Technician with the following experience and knowledge:
- Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Enrolment
- Power Automate and PowerShell scripting
- Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS)
- Bare metal recovery and backup procedures
- Microsoft Windows 10 and earlier versions
- Antivirus concepts and remote management tools
- Networking (wireless, VoIP, cabling, routing, VPN, managed networks)
Must Haves:
- Local to Stourbridge or within reasonable commute
- Able to drive with full licence (company vehicle available for site visits)
- Able to install/transfer servers
