What you'll do
- Support the Registered Manager in the daily operations, safeguarding, and leadership of the home
- Be a positive role model for children and staff alike leading by example with compassion and consistency
- Ensure children's individual care plans and education goals are implemented and reviewed effectively
- Foster a culture of respect, learning, and resilience
- Champion the highest standards of compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted expectations
What we're looking for
- Experience working in a children's residential home, ideally with learning disabilities or autism
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent); Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards it
- Leadership qualities that balance professionalism with warmth and empathy
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and team supervision
