Health and Safety Manager (part time) – Paddock Wood – up to £40,000 DOE
Please note that this role is initially 3 days per week, however has potential to go full time and permanent based on business needs.

We have an exciting opening for a part time Health and Safety Manager to collaborate with this fantastic local team in shaping and driving their Health and Safety initiatives, making a significant impact on the organisation.
You will be responsible for overseeing, developing and implementing company health and safety systems, frameworks and strategies, ensuring robust risk and audit management and outstanding levels of safe working and promotion of safety culture. Working with and coaching senior management on policies, procedures and compliance, including designing and conducting safety awareness sessions and conducting quarterly Director level site inspections.
You will have responsibility for the safety budget, track and report on safety performance and data, leading the SHE department to meet all responsibilities, including chairing of SHE meetings.
You will also assist project managers with project compliance and improvements in line with CDM regulations.
Please also be aware that this role will require travel to site and project locations for the company to conduct audits and inspections.
ABOUT YOU:
You will be a qualified and experienced Health and Safety Professional with a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification (or higher level qualification).
You will have adept management, leadership and auditing skills, along with excellent knowledge of CDM regulations and SHE Management systems including ISO14001, 9001 and OHSAS18001 certifications.
