This Award-winning, market-leading manufacturing business in Leicester are seeking an IT Manager due to significant business growth. This is a key role within the business, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the IT Operations, playing a critical role in maintaining and improving IT systems, supporting end-users and driving tech innovation to support business objectives. Hands-on IT Management experience, ideally gained from a manufacturing setting is essential, experience with MRP systems is highly desirable.
Salary is £50 - 60k, benefits include 25 days holiday, pension
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
- Develop and implement IT strategies
- Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and investment in tech
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures and regulations including GDPR
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of the infrastructure
- Ensuring the security and reliability of all IT systems, including networks, servers and applications
- Lead IT Projects - software implementation, system integration and upgrades
- IT support to all employees
ABOUT YOU
- Previous IT Manager experience is essential
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including networks and servers
- IT security knowledge, data protection and GDPR is essential
- IT Manager experience in a manufacturing setting with MRP experience is highly desirable
