We are recruiting a shift Production Supervisor to join our client in South Ayrshire on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious expanding business.
In this role you will be responsible for the production operations and quality standards in the manufacturing of the site. Our clients range from private individuals to the most prestigious national building and construction companies.
You will have many responsibilities, some will include:
- Ensure quality control systems and checks are applied
- Direct responsibility for people management of the team - recruitment, on boarding, training and performance management
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement amongst the team
- Responsible for health, safety, and well being of personnel
- Ensure documentation relating to timber frame production and loading is accurate
- Manage overtime, timekeeping, and attendance of the team
- Liaise with maintenance to ensure tasks are completed
- Maximise throughput of all material in an efficient manner
Our client is looking for you to have the following:
- Experience of timber frame manufacturing
- Strong analytic/problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Enthusiastic & self-motivated and ability to motivate the team
- Results driven whilst participating in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail
