History Teacher

- Salary: £130 - £170 per day

GSL Education are searching for a qualified History Teacher to join a school in South Shields, Tyne & Wear**.**
Job Summary:
- Teaching historical events, timelines, and figures through lectures, discussions, and multimedia presentations.
- Creating lesson plans and syllabi that meet educational standards and objectives.
- Designing and grading exams, essays, and projects to evaluate students' understanding and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational history lessons.
- Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive history lessons to students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and school activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
