Our client is a non-profit organisation working with people to support their health and wellbeing. Established for over 30 years, they have provided services alongside a variety of statutory and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) colleagues in Surrey and its boarders. They believe change is achievable when offered by a flexible, respectful, inclusive and a non-judgemental approach.

They are currently looking for an

HR Advisor

to work within the People and Culture team on an interim basis. If you are looking for a generalist role or a step up in your HR career then this could be great for you.

Salary

: £28,000 – £32,500 dependent on experience

Hours:

20-25 hours a week

Duration:

3 month FTC minimum

Location

– Guildford / Hybrid

This is a key role within the small and friendly People and Culture team where you will get to work closely with the People and Culture Manager on a variety of projects whilst also advising and guiding line managers on best practise when dealing with a range of HR and ER issues. Supporting employee wellbeing and mental health is also an important element.

You will get to work in a dynamic and fast moving growth organisation within a change programme for organisational design. They work flexibly to support their employees get a better work life balance. Although you will work to process, they are keen to hear suggestions for improvements and drive the processes forward.

It is important that you enjoy a role where each day is different, you are happy to take on a variety of HR related tasks and work within a small team. Your soft skills and ability to build internal relationships and support the wellbeing and mental health of employees is crucial.

Our ideal applicant will have/be;

  • Experience working within HR and you must have ER experience
  • CIPD level 5 would be an advantage but not essential
  • Proactive with ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Ability to work collaboratively across an organisation, supporting all main functions
  • Articulate communicator, both written and verbally
  • Empathic and non-judgemental
