Your new role
The organisation are looking for a Purchase Ledger to deal effectively and efficiently with the day-to-day processing of the organisation's records, purchase ledger, banking and petty cash. This is a 4-week temporary role. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. Pay for the role is £12.94 plus holiday. Main duties of the role include:
- Ensure all invoices and cheque requisitions are processed and paid promptly
- Record and back all income received on a regular basis and to file remittance advices and records
- Carry out bank reconciliations
- Keep all filing up to date and accurate
What you'll need to succeed
- Knowledge of sage accounting systems, reconciliation of computer and manual systems.
- Knowledge of bank and cash book reconciliations.
- Knowledge of Purchase Ledger
- Knowledge of Sage Payroll
- High levels of numeracy and literacy
- Excellent communication skills
