SEND Teaching Assistant

SEND Teaching Assistant required to work on a 1-2-1 basis with Key stage 2 children who have complex learning needs needs. This is a fulltime, ongoing opportunity to support a child on a 1-2-1 basis in an excellent SEND school setting. This school provides outstanding support for children with a range of special educational needs. Children who attend this school are happy, supported and are supported by a wonderful team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be providing support throughout the day, helping this child to get the most out of school. You will be joining an experienced team of Teaching Assistant and be provided with a lot of support. Your focus will be on providing 1-2-1 support for children however you will also be expected to provide hole class support when required. Experience working with Complex Needs is essential for this role.

Job Role:

  • 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant support for a Key Stage 2 child with complex needs.
  • Working with the teaching staff to ensure that the child's needs are met.
  • Working hours 08:30 – 15:30, term time only.
  • Access to amazing resources within an Ofsted Outstanding SEND school setting.
  • Immediate start for the right Teaching /assistant who holds a Enhanced DBS on the update service.
