Our client is a multi-disciplined environmental company who specialise in carrying out asbestos removal services. Due to recently acquiring new contracts, they are now seeking to take on an experienced and hard-working Asbestos Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience carrying out asbestos removal works on licensed and non-licensed projects. You will be responsible for overseeing, managing and co-ordinating a team of operatives across Leisure, Retail, Educational, Healthcare, Social Housing and Commercial sites, ensuring that work is carried out in line with agreed timeframes and site-specific RAMS.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Enfield, Cheshunt, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Slough, High Wycombe, Harlow, Hertford, Luton, Stevenage, Bishop's Stortford, Aylesbury, Windsor, Reading.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working hands on for an established Asbestos Removal company.
" Excellent management / supervisory skills.
" Will hold the ARCA Asbestos Supervisor ticket.
" Experience working on a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Able to communicate efficiently with colleagues and clients.
" Excellent knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
" Able to use industry related systems and databases.
The Role:
" Overseeing, managing and co-ordinating a team of Asbestos Operatives.
" Overseeing and managing licenced/non-licensed projects.
" Ensuring that asbestos is removed safely from a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Ensuring work is being carried out in line with site specific RAMS.
" Undertaking HSE audits.
" Ensuring work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
" Working alongside contracts managers, ensuring work is completed in line with agreed timeframes.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical support and advice when required.
