**Finance Business Partner**
Morgan Hunt is working with a leading healthcare organisation based in Kent looking to recruit a **Finance Business Partner**. This is a 3 month contract role paying up to £290 p/day and will be required to be on site 4 days p/week.
**Key Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner:**
- Budget Management and Accountability: Lead budget accountability reviews and manage a specific financial team, ensuring the provision of accurate and timely financial information across Divisions. Influence budgetary control and drive efficiency by providing expert advice and guidance.
- Financial Reporting: Deliver comprehensive monthly financial reports and detailed income and expenditure assessments. Oversee the production of Divisional forecasts and financial reports to support informed decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a primary financial resource for senior managers, budget holders, and external stakeholders, promoting a customer-focused approach to financial management.
- Cost Efficiency and Productivity: Identify cost-saving opportunities within Divisions by leveraging bench marking and hospital data. Support transformation initiatives by inlaying and advising on cost efficiency and productivity.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the Trust's annual budgeting process and long-term financial management strategy in alignment with the healthcare environment's evolving demands.
- Training and Development: Train and mentor financial staff, budget holders, and non-financial managers to foster strong financial literacy and adherence to financial principles within the Trust.
**Previous Skills and Experience of the Finance Business Partner:**
- **Qualifications**: CCAB fully qualified, with a Master's degree or equivalent experience, and evidence of continued professional development (CPD).
- **NHS Financial Expertise**: In-depth understanding of NHS financial regulations, investment appraisals, and costing methodologies.
- **Leadership and Relationship Management**: Proven experience in managing financial teams, developing efficiency programs, and building collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders.
- **Analytical and Decision-Making Skills**: Ability to analyse complex financial data and provide clear, actionable recommendations. Proficient in strategic decision-making with experience in resource allocation.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent ability to convey complex financial information in an accessible way, with a capacity to motivate and lead teams towards change and improvement.
