This company is a leading contractor who have earnt themselves a notable reputation for their high-quality work within mainstream construction. Looking to expand the business with a number of exciting projects on the horizon, our client pride themselves on encouraging a flexible environment, encouraging a work-life balance whilst delivering a first-class service to their clientele. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team working on their Hinkley Point C project.
In this role you will be based in their Bristol office, playing a crucial part in exciting projects such as Hinkley Point C, working closely with the team, you will help to estimate and control costs, complete quantity take-offs, issue labour packages, form CVR's, procure materials, manage contractual relationships and monitor the project and overall cost until completion.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years quantity surveying experience within the construction industry and have knowledge of NEC3 contracts.
You will have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively across the company. It is desirable if you have experience working for Tier 1 and 2 contractors, or have worked on Hinkley Point C before.
