PMO Manager

A FTSE listed multinational is looking for an experienced PMO to support several high value and high visibility programmes over a 2-year period.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of the Group, delivering PMO activities multiple projects as required
  • Apply PMO practices and processes ensuring that the projects are consistently following methodology and tools
  • Support reporting across the transformation portfolio, specifically focused on Risk and project performance
  • Establish and manage project budgets
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting across the portfolio facilitating executive level decision-making
  • Regular interaction with Executive Committee
  • Support the successful execution of key transformation initiatives
  • Communicate feedback continuously with key transformation partners across the business
  • Work with various business partners to define requirements and document best practices within transformation activities Role Requirements & Skills

Skills / Competencies

  • Experienced working within a PMO function within IT
  • Proficient in the use of Project Management tools and systems
  • Experienced in Risk & Change Management and escalation procedures in a project and portfolio context
  • Problem-solver with the ability to identify and deliver solutions on issues.
  • Strong verbal, written and technical (Excel and PowerPoint) communication skills are essential

Qualifications

  • Project Management accreditation preferred.
