Are you a skilled Transport Planner looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and play a crucial role in optimizing our container truck operations.
Responsibilities:
- Effective route planning and operation of container trucks
- Experience working in container transport
- Previous transport experience
- Proficiency in TOPS
- Knowledge of driver's rules and regulations and WTD
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent levels of commitment and motivation
- Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to question, challenge, and improve upon existing processes
Requirements:
- Ensure adherence to Operator's License and driver's hours legislation
- Handle issues that arise impacting operations, including traffic delays, breakdowns, and accidents
- Manage drivers, including agency drivers and subcontractors
