Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 5, fostering a love for learning and critical thinking.
- Differentiate lessons to cater to the individual needs of all pupils, ensuring that every child is challenged and supported to achieve their potential.
- Use assessment data effectively to monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, contributing to a positive school culture.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning in the classroom, creating a safe and inclusive environment where children feel confident and valued.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and share best practices, contributing to the continued success of the school.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in Year 5.
- A proven track record of high-quality teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
- A passion for education and a commitment to promoting high standards of achievement and personal development.
- Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
