Multi Skilled Engineer

About the role

Working Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm plus on-call 1 week in 3, you will be responsible for:

  • Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults, implementing effective repair solutions in a timely manner.
  • Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all equipment meets company and regulatory standards for safety and performance.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to minimise downtime and disruption to services.

About you

Our ideal candidate will possess a City and Guilds / HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical engineering (with a preference for Electrical). You should have 18th Edition certification and experience with 3-phase electrical systems, PLC programming, automation and control, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Previous experience working in a cold storage environment is essential.
