Your new role
As a Procurement Manager in the Corporate Services division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the procurement strategy and driving business performance across key categories such as IT, Finance, Legal, Consultancy, and Professional Services. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive category strategies, implementing cost-saving measures, and negotiating contracts to meet business requirements. Your advanced category management skills will enable you to deliver consistent results and leave a lasting impact.In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute category strategies to drive business objectives.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives across relevant categories.
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Prioritise multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:* Proven strategic procurement background.
- Broad procurement experience, including IT.
- Strong sourcing and category planning/management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering abilities.
- In-depth technical and category management knowledge.
- MCIPS qualification (preferred).
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- High level of analytical ability and resilience.
