Atkinson Moss are delighted to be working with a well-established company based in Bungay in their search for a Materials Controller.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing stock levels as well as ensuring deliveries are scheduled to replenish stock as and when necessary.
This is an office based role with the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week, once you've passed probation.
Role Responsibilities include:
- Raising orders for materials.
- Scheduling and organising deliveries.
- Work to tight deadlines.
- Goods receipt management and invoice checking.
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- Communicate with other internal departments.
- Maintaining appropriate stock levels and monthly stock ordering.
- Forecasting supply and demand to prevent over/under stocking.
- Assisting other members of the team and covering holidays.
What you will need for the role:
- Good administration skills - experience working within a previous administration-based role
- Excellent organisations skills
- Clear communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and with high levels of accuracy
- Experience within a similar role will be well regarded
The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis working Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm.
