Accounts Clerk - Up to 12 week assignment.

Our renowned client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing balance sheet reconciliations and other accounting duties to support the financial health of our organisation.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies in financial records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to maintain accounting ledgers and financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Process transactions and update ledgers, ensuring all business transactions are recorded accurately.
- Support the finance department with various tasks, including ad hoc reporting and analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and numerical skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
