Learning Support Assistant - Hammersmith and Fulham
A special school in Hammersmith and Fulham is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team. You will work with a class of 7 pupils aged 11-14 years, each with complex needs including Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. Experience in managing behavioral challenges is preferred.
The role involves supporting pupils working at P Levels of the National Curriculum and using PECS and Makaton for communication. A certificate in Team Teach (positive handling) is highly desired. Some personal care for pupils is also part of the role.
