Cloud Support Engineer - Ellesmere Port - £60,000
The Company:
Working in partnership with an international manufacturer based in Ellesmere Port. You may have noticed this role has gone through various iterations, this has been due it being a new vacancy for the client. However, we're now in a good position to proceed to interviews! The client is looking for a Cloud Support Engineer to join their growing Infrastructure Team.
The Role:
Your core responsibility is to ensure the Azure, Microsoft 365 environments are managed and maintained. This role will give you excellent opportunity to work closely with the Cyber Security Team focusing on areas such as cloud security, patch management and vulnerability management.
We're looking a candidate who enjoys a challenge, is a great communicator and can take part in proactively developing the security of the IaaS platform. With this genuine chance to join a team who work on a global scale you will give your advice on key decisions across the infrastructure projects and support remediation.
The Requirements:
- Previous experience administrating and maintaining Azure IaaS
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Defender
- Proven background with the maintenance of Windows Server technologies
- Understanding of Cyber Security principles and best practices
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
