Professio Recruitment are delighted to be working with an award winning business to help them find a HR Advisor. Our client seeks a proactive HR professional to join a business in a time of change & growth.

The position offers a competitive salary with a hybrid working arrangement. Location Ipswich outskirts. Applicants must be prepared to attend the office on a weekly/as required basis. Please note: You should be within reasonable commuting distance of their Head Office in Suffolk and be prepared to travel to other sites on an ad hoc basis.

As HR Advisor you will act as the first port of call for all aspects of the employee lifecycle, working in conjunction with the existing team to provide a knowledgeable, consistent and timely HR service to colleagues, Line Managers and Senior Management.

As a HR Advisor you will be ready to showcase your expertise in delivering business-focused, commercially driven people advice, guidance, and support. You will be at the forefront of fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture. You will also have practical knowledge of employment law and its application, together with a passion for coaching and upskilling operational managers on their role in the employee lifecycle.

The business is in the process of system and process reviews and improvements, therefore it is an ideal time to join and be part of the change programme.

Salary Up to £35,000 pa

Permanent position offering 40 hours per week

Experience/qualifications:

You will hold CIPD Level 5 or already working towards. You will also have 4 GCSE/O level passes A-C or equivalent, including English and Maths.

Comfortable with travel within assigned area.

Experience in a people advisory role, managing employee relation cases.

A comprehensive knowledge of good HR practices and processes.

A collaborator able to build relationships.

A passion for delivering a customer centric, high performing service.

An open and agile mindset.

Drive and tenacity.

A strong sense of accountability and holding others to account.

Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Organised, articulate, calm & discrete.

Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision in a proactive & methodical manner.

A passion for continuous improvement and self-development.

Ability to analyse, interpret and explain employment law.

Ability to compile and interpret statistical data and communicate it in a professional and understandable manner.

Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Excellent attention to detail.

Curiosity and a willingness to challenge organisational culture where necessary.
