Senior Tax Analyst

As the Senior Tax Analyst, you'll play a crucial role within our Finance team, supporting the Head of Accounting for Tax. Your expertise will contribute to our growing team, which boasts diversified skills and technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Tax:

  • Lead the design and implementation of our group-wide tax strategy.
  • Actively liaise with business managers to address transfer pricing queries and produce regular reports.
  • Ensure transfer pricing compliance in each jurisdiction.
  • Be accountable for all business taxes (direct and indirect), focusing on strategy and effectiveness.
  • Maintain a comprehensive tax calendar, collaborating with internal staff and external tax consultants to ensure timely filings and payments.
  • Address taxation issues through effective tax planning and management solutions.
  • Own tax-related disclosures in annual audited financial statements across jurisdictions.
  • Manage tax provisioning and compliance processes.
  • Regularly update the group's transfer pricing policy to reflect changes in the business.
  • Serve as the go-to point for tax-related matters, providing advisory services to various departments.
  • Participate in new business projects, ensuring tax efficiency.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, advisors, and tax authorities.
  • Write and maintain procedure documents for tax returns and VAT compliance.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a commercial environment.
  • Familiarity with regulated investment firms.
  • Awareness of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management within your assigned region.
  • Some knowledge of the regulatory environment in which an FX firm operates.
  • Full ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification.
  • Fluency in other European languages is desirable.
