HR Advisor (maternity Cover) -12 months

  • Job Type: Full-time 09am -5.30pm (37.5 hours per week)
  • Location: Milton Keynes
  • Salary: Competitive dependent upon experience

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and payroll processing, with a thorough knowledge of HR laws and procedures. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and meet all deadlines with a positive attitude.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Accurately process payroll for an external provider and coordinate monthly payroll activities and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with HR laws and procedures.
  • Work accurately and in a timely manner to meet all deadlines.
  • Use initiative and work unsupervised to manage HR systems and benefit systems effectively.
  • Maintain a positive "Can do" attitude and be willing to attend our other offices as required by the HR Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an HR Advisor or HR Officer.
  • A thorough knowledge of HR laws and procedures.
  • Proficient in managing and using HR systems.
  • Knowledge and management of benefit systems.
  • Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.
  • Capable of working unsupervised and using own initiative.
  • Willingness to travel to other offices as needed.
  • Minimum part CIPD qualified or equivalent

Desirable:

  • Experience within a professional services sector, preferably the legal sector.
  • Experience of using HiBob or similar HR and online performance review systems.
