Location: Streatham Hill, London

Salary: £24,960 - £26,000 + Excellent Benefits

40 hours per week, 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm

The Client:

Our client is a reputable childcare nursery, delivering quality care and education to children aged 3 to 5 years.

The Role:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will develop and execute engaging activities suitable for their age that enhance physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate children's development progress, maintaining accurate records.
  • Partner closely with parents and care givers to meet each child's individual needs.
  • Create a secure, nurturing, and stimulating setting for children aged 3-5 years.
  • Maintain a tidy, orderly, and inviting classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Ensure the safety, health, and overall well-being of all children in your care.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including those for safeguarding and health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Previously worked as an Early Years practitioner in a similar role.
  • Ideally have experience working with children aged 3-5 years.
  • Must have Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Effective team player with collaborative skills.
