Customer Service Representative - West Bromwich

We are currently recruiting for a customer service representative to join our client, a specialist in sealing solutions, in their customer service and internal sales support team based in West Bromwich. Our client manufactures parts such as polyurethanes, rubbers, and various plastics, adhering to relevant ISO accreditations and API procedures. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, happy to do heavy lifting, and assist in the factory as needed.
Start Date: As soon as possible!
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by handling incoming and outgoing sales calls and emails.
- Manage the quotation and order handling process efficiently.
- Support the creation of quotations, work orders, and quality documentation to meet audit standards.
- Ensure full compliance with customer requirements, including labeling and dispatching goods.
- Assist with stock taking, inventory management, and raising supplier POs.
- Safeguard customer requirements by continuously following up on schedules, delivery patterns, supplies, and shipments.
- Support the account manager with contract preparations, sales history analysis, and proactively follow up on quotations raised.
- Manage post-sales activities (claims, returns, etc.).
- Support the cash collection process by managing goods in transit, overdue payments, payment conditions, credit limits, etc.
- Assist with ISO external and internal branch audits.
- Willingness to perform heavy lifting and assist in the factory as needed.
