Our High Wycombe office has experienced significant growth in recent years, and we are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team. This office boasts a diverse client portfolio and offers a dynamic and inclusive environment for career development.

Responsibilities

  • Join a team providing a broad range of audit, accounting, and advisory services to clients.
  • Manage a varied client portfolio across different sectors, reporting directly to the Partners.
  • Perform accounts preparation work and handle special assignments as needed.
  • Oversee the audit process, monitor work progress, and manage budgets.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all work.
  • Supervise and coach both qualified staff and trainees.
  • Liaise with the tax team.
  • Participate in special assignments and projects.
  • Engage in regular technical training and soft skills development for career growth.

The Team

We offer a comprehensive suite of services including accounting, audit and assurance, business advisory, tax, and VAT, catering to both UK and international clients. Our High Wycombe office serves a wide range of clients, from small and medium-sized businesses to large international groups, with specializations in owner-managed businesses, property, non-profits, private wealth, and professional practices. Our team collaborates closely with colleagues in our national offices to deliver seamless service to clients.

Our High Wycombe office includes 2 partners, 2 directors, and 40 staff members, providing a close-knit atmosphere within a larger network of around 1,200 professionals.

Additionally, candidates should possess confidence and professionalism to establish credibility at all levels, be commercially minded, and clearly understand client requirements.

Education and Experience

  • CA/ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • Background in audit or general practice.
  • Excellent understanding of FRS 102, with IFRS knowledge as an advantage.
  • Experience with special assignments or technical projects is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, CCH Accounts Production, and CCH Audit Automation.
  • Strong leadership and training skills.

Salary/Benefits

  • 35-hour workweek with a hybrid working policy allowing up to three days per week from home (core hours: 10-4).
