As the School Catering Manager, you will lead a team of cooks and catering assistants.
Your role involves running day-to-day catering operations and services within the school. You'll ensure high-quality meals are prepared, presented, and served efficiently to pupils and staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop nutritious and balanced menus that cater to students' dietary needs and preferences.
- Manage a team of cooks, kitchen staff, and catering assistants.
- Control costs related to food purchasing, inventory, and kitchen supplies.
- Monitor expenses and adjust menus accordingly.
- Optimise resources to maintain quality while staying within budget.
- Implement and enforce hygiene standards, including food safety protocols.
- Interact with students, staff, and parents to address feedback and concerns.
- Strive for excellent customer satisfaction by providing high-quality meals and service.
- Maintain records related to food orders, inventory, and staff schedules.
- Collaborate with school administration on catering-related matters.
