This forward thinking and creative business are dominating their market and will continue to expand across the world. They are now looking to recruit externally for an adaptable and motivated Finance Analyst to join their team. As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting in tasks such as the preparation of forecasts, variance analysis, trend analysis etc. The successful candidate will support finance and operational management through analysing information in order to aid the decision-making process.
This fully remote role comes with an annual salary of up to £35,000.00.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in preparation of weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
- Analyse costs/revenues and report information back to operational/finance managers.
- Produce variance analysis for actual results versus forecast.
- Gather historical information, analyse trends, and report in a presentable way aiding decision making and accurate forecasting.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management information and accounts.
- Prepare monthly journals.
- Carry out monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Process intercompany transactions.
- Compile detailed reports including graphs and charts from data analysed.
- Coordinate invoicing with billing team and assisting with review of sales invoices.
- Assist with internal and external audit queries.
- Actively engage in continuous improvement to processes.
Candidate Experience, Skills an Attributes:
- Previous experience working in a Finance Analyst or similar role, with a strong. understanding of transactional finance.
- Studying toward a professional finance qualification - AAT/ACCA/CIMA.
- Strong analytical skills and a confident Excel user.
- Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work under your own initiative/with minimal supervision.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and recommend plans of action.
- Confident communicator with colleagues at all levels.
- Avid problem solver, questioning and focusing on finding solutions
