We are currently supporting a primary school in Northampton in their search for a dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. This role offers the opportunity to engage with enthusiastic primary school students and contribute to their educational and personal development.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of primary school students.
- Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that fosters independence and confidence among primary school children.
- Collaborate with parents, support staff, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for each child in the primary school setting.
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies to facilitate effective learning.
- Foster positive relationships with primary school students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Contribute to the primary school's inclusive ethos and actively participate in professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of teaching strategies and approaches for supporting primary school students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with primary school students, staff, and parents.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient attitude towards working with primary school children.
