Fostering Social Worker, £35ph, Gloucestershire
Pertemps are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Fostering Social Worker to join the Fostering Support Team. The role includes supporting and supervising foster carers to ensure they provide the best quality care to meet the needs of vulnerable children as set out in their care plan.
The postholder will be a part of a team where Safeguarding is the top priority, and which supervises 190 fostering households, running support groups and support with foster carer training. The ideal candidate will therefore be able to fit into this busy but welcoming team, undertake annual reviews, hold a caseload, and help with identifying placements for children. Regular reflective supervision is prioritised by managers in the team, and opportunities to learn and develop skills are available.
The successful candidate must have relevant fostering experience, have completed their ASYE and be registered with the SWE.
