Are you ready to join a thriving, award-winning business in the heart of Colchester? Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Payroll Administrator to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This role offers a salary range £28k-£30k, along with an impressive benefits package.
Working closely with all members of the payroll team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end processes for external clients, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and providing support to the payroll team, while demonstrating exceptional service and professionalism. Experience using Staffology is desirable but not essential for this role.
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
- Calculate and process statutory deductions, including income tax, national insurance contributions, and pension contributions.
- Stay updated with UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.
Preferred Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Payroll Administrator or similar role, with a focus on UK payroll.
- Knowledge of UK payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of statutory deductions, including income tax, National Insurance contributions, and pension contributions.
- Familiarity with pension scheme administration and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using payroll software or systems for end-to-end payroll processing.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and their integration with payroll systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex payroll calculations and reconciliations.
