Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary: As a Sales & Customs Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the efficient distribution of products primarily supplied to wholesale, manufacturing and the restaurant trade. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of importing and exporting, ensuring compliance with UK and international trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the import and export of products.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and certifications, particularly in the context of Brexit (full training will be given on this).
  • Manage logistics and supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Stock reconciliation.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, and logistics providers to maintain smooth operations.
  • Handle necessary documentation for customs and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor changes in regulations in relation to imports and exports and implement changes in processes accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product quality and safety standards are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong administrative experience, ideally with some documentation handing experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with the ability to plan, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and chase any outstanding documents, deliveries, updating all parties involved.
  • Confident and effective communication skills – ability to engage in good working relationships with both suppliers and customers.
  • Resilient and adaptable - ability to work in a fast-paced, changeable environment.

Advantageous but not essential:

  • A background from within supply chain, operations, logistics, import/export.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and certifications.
  • Strong understanding of customs regulations and trade compliance, especially post-Brexit.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm, (1 hour lunch). Sat morning on 4 weekly rotations, (time off provided in lieu).

Salary: £30-35k.

Location: Central Norwich location (easy access for public transport OR parking paid for).

Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays.
